Installation

Install from Chrome Web Store

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store
2. Search for “ChatGPT to Obsidian”
3. Click “Add to Chrome”
4. Confirm the installation

Verify Installation

After installation, you should see the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar. Click it to open the extension popup.

Initial Configuration

Before downloading conversations, you need to configure your download folder:

1. Click the extension icon
2. In the “Download Folder” field, enter your desired folder name (default: “obsidian”)
3. Choose your preferred filename pattern
4. Optionally enable “Download Images” if you want to save DALL-E generated images

Files will be saved to: Downloads/{your-folder-name}/
