Installation

Install from Chrome Web Store

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store
2. Search for “Perplexity to Obsidian”
3. Click “Add to Chrome”
4. Confirm the installation

Verify Installation

After installation, you should see the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar. Click it to open the extension popup.

Pin the Extension

For easy access, pin the extension to your toolbar:

1. Click the puzzle piece icon in your Chrome toolbar
2. Find “Perplexity to Obsidian”
3. Click the pin icon

Initial Setup

No authorization required! The extension works directly with PerplexityAI pages and downloads Markdown files to your local device.

Configure Export Settings

Open the extension popup to configure your preferences:

• Include Sources: Toggle to include/exclude Sources section
• Include Related Questions: Toggle to include/exclude Related Questions section
• Space Subdirectories: Organize exports into folders by Space name
• Download Attachments: Download user-uploaded files with wiki links
• Filename Pattern: Customize how exported files are named
