Exporting Individual Searches

Quick Start

After installing the extension, pin it to your browser toolbar for easy access. Click the puzzle piece icon, find Perplexity to Notion, and click the pin icon.

Initial Setup

Complete this one-time authorization before saving conversations.

Notion Authorization

1. Click the extension icon and select “Connect to Notion”

2. In the Notion authorization window:

   • Select your workspace
   • Click “Next”

3. Choose your save location:

   • Select “Save Page”
   • Choose an existing page or create a new one
   • Click “Allow Access”

4. After authorization:

   • You’ll be redirected to Notion
   • Close the page and return to Perplexity

Saving the Current Page

Save Current Conversation or Task

1. Navigate to a Perplexity conversation page or computer task page
2. Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar
3. Click “Save to Notion” button
4. The current item will be saved to your selected database

The popup detects what kind of page you are on:

• Conversation page: saves the current research thread
• Computer task page: saves the current task thread and its workflow output

Free tier limit: 10 exports per day

Include Sources & Related Questions

You can choose to include sources and related questions when exporting:

1. Open extension popup
2. Check “Include Sources & Related Questions”
3. Click “Save to Notion”

This preserves the full context of your research, including reference links and suggested follow-up questions.

When to Use One-Click Export

One-click export is best when you want to:

• Save a high-value answer immediately
• Archive a single task run without opening the batch page
• Capture a conversation before editing or revisiting it
• Quickly build a Notion research log as you work

Tips

• Pin the extension for quick access
• Free tier quotas reset daily
• Sources and related questions are included by default
• Sync behavior depends on your current setting: skip, overwrite, or duplicate
• If the current page is a computer task, task output is exported as part of the saved record

Troubleshooting

If save fails:

1. Ensure stable internet connection
2. Check Notion authorization is valid
3. Refresh the Perplexity page
4. Reopen the extension popup
